A Masai Couple
We have always been fascinated by the African beauty and by the diversity that nature has to offer in the continent. The painting above is a tribute to the Masai people, who are rich in culture and beautiful in every aspect. The necklaces were cut out of a "Chocolate wrapper" to mimic the use of silver. This painting was gifted to Bala Ramesh, a friend in Tampa, as a wedding gift.
Making of Ganapati Idol
Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in India. This year we decided to make the idol at home but were skeptic about our skills at idol making. But I think that a job will be half done if you begin with determination and delight. We were very pleased with the results and will try to make a bigger idol next time.
